Depending on which motor option you choose—Bosch Performance Line or Bosch Cargo Line—pricing starts at $5,999 or $7,999 before taxes.
With either the Performance Line and Cargo Line motor option, the Urban Arrow Family is categorized as a Class 1 eBike and will provide you with pedal assistance up to 20mph.
If you choose to upgrade your UA Family with a rear carrier, attaching a child’s seat is possible. The rear rack has a carrying capacity of 60lbs (27kg).
Urban Arrow has a Yepp adapter plate to attach a child’s Yepp seat to the front bucket. Additionally, there is a MaxiCosi adapter. This plate is compatible with many car seats that use the MaxiCosi attachment system. Urban Arrow has provided us with this list of seats that they have tested and know will work:
MaxiCosi CabrioFix, MaxiCosi citi2, BeSafe iZi Go Modular I-Size, Cybex Cloud Z, Kidsriver june I-size and the Nuna Pipa Lite.
Yes! If full-time cargo hauling is what the bike will be used for and no humans will be riding in front, the bench seat and seat belts can be removed to make more floor space and to accommodate add-ons such as the UA Box cover to keep your items secure, as well as the UA Explorer Case, if you need to store any electronics or other fragile and/or expensive items.
The Urban Arrow comes in a one-size-fits-most frame design, made to fit all riders (depending on their inseam) between 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall. The slanted seat tube and crank-forward design make it easier to have the saddle high enough for a proper pedaling position while still being able to touch the ground when coming to a stop without having to hop off and on the seat.
The Bosch Performance Line motor is great for an ambitious rider. If you describe your riding style as sporty, and you’re into commuting, cornering turns with some speed, or tackling a hilly route, the Performance Line may be the motor for you.
The Bosch Cargo Line motor is designed just for cargo bikes and works well if you’re constantly hauling heavy loads. If you live in the city and you’re making frequent stops, short trips and riding through busy streets, this is likely the best motor for you. It has higher torque than the Performance Line, so it is also a good choice if you have steep hills to negotiate.
